• Non-Invasive Prenatal Paternity (NIPP) Testing: Requires a small blood sample from the mother and a cheek swab from the potential father. This safe and non-invasive method can determine paternity as early as 7 weeks into pregnancy.

2.  Chain of Custody

To ensure the integrity and accuracy of your test results, we maintain a strict chain of custody throughout the entire testing process. This includes:

• Proper documentation and labeling of the collected samples.
• Secure storage of samples.
• Careful tracking of samples from collection to analysis.

3. Laboratory Analysis

Once collected, the samples are sent to an AABB-accredited DNA testing laboratory for analysis. In the lab:

• DNA is extracted from the sample and specific genetic markers are analyzed.
• These genetic markers, which vary among individuals, are used to establish biological relationships.
• Technicians calculate the probability of paternity or other relationships based on the similarities or differences in the genetic markers.
• Results are typically expressed as a probability, such as 99.9% or higher for inclusion (indicating a biological relationship) or 0% for exclusion (indicating no biological relationship).

4. Reporting Results

Once the analysis is complete, the laboratory provides a detailed report, which includes:

• The probability of paternity or relationship.
• Any limitations or important notes.
• A clear and easy-to-understand interpretation of the findings.

5. Confidentiality and Privacy
